New sellers on Amazon India to get 50% fee waiver till Oct 26 Visakhapatnam, Sept 10 (KNN) Amazon India on Friday announced a 50 per cent waiver on selling fees across all categories for new sellers who register on Amazon between August 28 and October 26 and launch their product within 90 days from the date of registration.

Addressing thr press conference, Director Fulfillment Channels, Amazon India, Vivek Somareddy, said that about 15,000 sellers from Andhra Pradesh have so far registered with Amazon India.

He said that sellers from across the Visakhapatnam region were offering authentic and a wide range of products across various categories such as textiles, groceries, fashion and beauty products among other things.

In recent times, Amazon has been furthering its presence in Andhra Pradesh. It has launched various programmes like investing in warehouse infrastructure and delivery to remote locations.

Somareddy further added that their delivery rate has increased by four times compared to the previous year. (KNN Bureau)
